Setting Up your Adobe Developer Account

This is required if you want to import your photos directly from Adobe Lightroom CC.

  1. Access the Console: Visit the Adobe Developer Console and sign in with your Adobe ID.

  2. Create a Project:

    • Click Create new project from the quick start menu. This creates a container for your API credentials.

  3. Add an API:

    • Inside your project, click Add API.

    • Select the Lightroom API (or the relevant Creative Cloud API) from the list.

    • Choose OAuth 2.0 Web as the authentication method.

    • Enter your Redirect URI exactly as shown in Square Orb > Authentication in your WordPress dashboard (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=square-orb).

  4. Save Credentials:

    • Once the API is configured, the console generates your Client ID (API Key) and Client Secret. Copy and paste these into the Square Orb > Authentication tab in WordPress, click Save Adobe Credentials, and then click Connect to Lightroom.

Note: The Adobe integration currently authenticates your Creative Cloud account via OAuth 2.0. Direct cloud photo browsing and sideloading for Lightroom CC assets is scheduled for the upcoming v1.2 release.
